Since winning the Champions League in Spain at the end of April, Real Madrid has had one eye on the final. Since then, Carlo Ancelotti has rested players, although it can be difficult to reverse gears after a month of recuperation.

Liverpool barely missed out on the Premier League title last weekend, but they have already won two trophies this season, the League Cup and the FA Cup. After losing the 2018 Champions League final to Madrid, they are now seeking vengeance.

It's hard to believe Madrid is in the final after being outplayed for the majority of their matches against PSG, Chelsea, and Manchester City, but they are. On paper, the absence of Fabinho and Thiago, or even just one of them, would even out the tie on Saturday, but Liverpool remain favorites.
