Highlights

Chelsea dominated the first half, with 11 shots compared to United's three, and Thomas Tuchel's side could have been ahead at the break.

Kai Havertz had the finest chance of the first period, but his drive from inside the area was brilliantly saved by David De Gea at close range.

Marcos Alonso's volleyed shot from inside the area struck the bottom corner to give Chelsea the lead midway through the second half.

United quickly responded at the other end, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring his 23rd goal of the season from inside the box at a tight angle.

With 10 minutes remaining, Chelsea had an opportunity to win it when Reece James' curling shot came back off the goal frame. Ralf Rangnick's team hung in there to get a point and halt their two-game losing streak.
